Warping the Future: How craft led to the digital world as we know itRegister for this exciting free online event, hosted by Francesca and Renata at the Weaving X Coding Studio “Join us for the opening of “Warping the Future: How craft led to the digital world as we know it”, a virtual exhibition commissioned by the Gottesman Libraries at Columbia University with the support from the Eugene E. Myers Trust. "Warping the Future" explores the connection between the history of crafting and computing, by accentuating the tools and characters that continuously weave this story. This exhibition is part of our ongoing explorations on demystifying the complexity of weaving and programming, as well as honoring the contribution of women in innovation. Join the free, virtual reception on February 11th at 6:30 pm EST!
